The University of Nigeria, Nsukka is no doubt, one of the biggest Universities in Nigeria, and very popular, even in the African continent. If you’re interested in studying at UNN, this is the complete list of UNN courses officially accredited and approved by the National Universities Commission (UNN).

There are seventeen (17) faculties and a hundred (100) departments at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN).

The Federal University of Nigeria, Nsukka motto is “To restore the dignity of man”, and yes, this institution was founded in 1995 by Dr Nmandi Azikiwe.

UNN was officially opened on the 7th of October 1960, surprisingly, six (6) days after Nigeria celebrated its first independence.

UNN Admission Requirements for all Courses.

  1. Take note that this academic institution requires candidates seeking admission to have at least, 5 Credits in either WAEC Or NECO at First Sitting, and not more than Two Sittings. Although it rarely works, but try using one o’level result when applying.
  2. It would really go a long way to help you secure admission into the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, when you score high in JAMB.
  3. The UNN admission office usually writes Post UTME screening every academic year. Scoring high in the Post UTME screening is essential. Adding it up will increase your chances of getting admitted into UNN.

If you are seeking admission into UNN through Direct Entry, having Upper credits in your A’level result is important, because if you don’t have upper credits, there’s little hope that the competitive courses you’re applying for may likely be declined.
