Abia State Governor Reduces Tuition Fees Abia State University By 20%

This is apparently good news to all students or aspiring students of the Abia State University, (ABSU), because latest information reaching the www.Dailyschoolnews.com.ng team today, which we have also verified, is that the Governor of Abia state, Chief Theodore Orji, has order reduction of tuition fee being paid by students of Abia State University, Uturu by 20 per cent.

This information was released in a recent statement which has been signed by the Secretary to the Abia State Government, Professor Mkpa Agu Mkpa, where he disclosed that Governor Orji said the gesture was to boost education in the state.

Here’s his exact statement which is quoted below

Following the present economic falls in the country, which is maily caused by the oil prices in the international market, as a result of which students of ABSU and their parents are having some difficulties in paying of their school fees in the academic institution, His Excellency, the Governor of Abia State, Chief T.A. Orji, has magnanimously approved the reduction of school fees which is payable by all students of the Abia State University by 20% across the board.

With this kind gesture from the governor, the Abia State Government is expecting the staff, students and management board of the Abia State University, Uturu, to reciprocate the state governor’s kindness by remaining disciplined and law abiding at all times.
