Latest news reaching the Dailyschoolnews Nigeria board today is that the JAMB Result Statistics for the 2020 academic session is out. The cumulative performance statistics have been released by JAMB.
Parents, guardians, and candidates should note that the statistics were presented during the 2020 JAMB policy meeting, headed by the Registrar of JAMB, Prof. Ishaq Oloyede. The cumulative performance statistics have been made available for all to see and contains statistical data on the cumulative performance of candidates in the 2020 UTME.
It is no surprise to know that, according to the data released, 1,352,988 candidates scored 120 and above, while a total of 275,206 scored 200 and above.

JAMB Result Statistics of Top Candidates in 2020 UTME.

The most surprising fact is that all candidates who made this list of top 10 highest performers wants to study Engineering. Well, the best student was given 16 Million Naira by the Nigerian Engineering association.
However, I’ll also share more detailed information here. The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) decided to honor candidates with the best performance, by publishing the names of candidates who emerged with the highest scores in the 2020 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination ( UTME).
This information was shared by the JAMB board during the JAMB Policy meeting, that was held on 16th June 2020
The two overall best candidates scored between 365 and 363 in their UTME, and they’re both from Anambra State.
The third overall best candidate in the 2020 UTME hails from Edo State and scored 359 while two candidates from Ekiti made the list on the fourth and fifth positions, scoring 358 and 356 respectively.
Another state with two candidates on the top 10 list is Delta state, these two candidates scored 359 and 352 respectively.
Other states that appeared on the list are Ekiti, Ondo, Akwa Ibom, Kwara, Oyo, and Ogun states.
Out of the 13 listed candidates, two scored 359, two, 355, while four candidates scored 352.
