Just as candidates are preparing to go register for the 2020 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), the JAMB board has officially disclosed that the registration portal is shut down.
Speaking through it’s official Twitter handle, the board disclosed this and we quote below:
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) regrets to announce that there would be no (and there should be no) registration exercise in the 243 centers in Nigeria. The reason is that there will be a third-party recruitment examination that will take place across the nation today, Thursday, January 16, 2020.
The reason why JAMB Stops 2020 registration, is simply to avoid overcrowding of the centers by JAMB candidates. However, it is important to note here, that the UTME registration exercise will resume on Friday, the 17th of January, 2020. The Board regrets all inconveniences this decision must have caused the candidates.
