FUOYE Cut off Mark 2019

What is Cut off Marks?

Cut off Marks are criteria which must be reached by candidates aiming for admission into tertiary institutions. Before one is admitted to study in any of the Fuoye courses, you must have reach or scored above the cut off point.

The biggest Criteria and determining factor when it comes to Nigerian Universities admission is reaching the cut off points of the course you want to study. There are two types of cut off Marks, which are the JAMB general cut off points and each school’s Post UTME cut off Marks.

If a candidate is able to attain both of the required cut off mark, their admission is 90% secure and certain.

FUOYE JAMB Cut off Mark

JAMB has set the cut off marks for admission into the Federal University Oye Ekiti to be 180.

Some candidates are still finding it difficult to know why they scored 180 and above in JAMB but are not offered admission to study their desired course. Here is the answer.

In FUOYE admission system (Which is also used by all Universities in Nigeria), candidates with higher scores are first considered for admission before candidates with lower scores, even though they might meet the cut off mark of 180. Fuoye JAMB Cut off Marks is officially 180. But when students scored 200 and above, the candidates with higher JAMB scores stand a better chance of being admitted.

The ONLY Way forward is trying to score HIGH in your JAMB

FUOYE Departmental Cut off Mark.

I discovered that the Federal University, Oye Ekiti does not really have a specific cut off mark for all it’s courses.

However, candidates who with a minimum JAMB score of 180 are automatically qualified and eligible to apply for admission into any of their choice courses.

Due to the high number of Federal University, Oye Ekiti aspirants seeking for Admission, the Fuoye admission processes is competitive and an admission is given based on JAMB score and O’level grades.

Here are the Fuoye Courses and Cut off Marks.

To all candidates who are interested in getting admitted into the Federal University, Oye Ekiti, here is how the school’s Admission system works.

Fuoye usually holds her admission screening exercises within a week or couple of weeks after JAMB result is out. Fuoye Admission screening exercise usually comes in two phases.

The first phase is for students who applied to study in the school through UTME, and they are required to proceed for the pre-screening exercise once it is being announced. (you must have scored 180 and above in your JAMB before qualifying to partake in Fuoye Post UTME screening)

Documents required for Fuoye Pre-Screening Exercise.

The documents which the school board requires for screening exercise includes your SSCE result, and JAMB registration print out only.

When scheduled for the screening, I usually advise candidates to quickly arrive their venue early and locate his/her screening venue. Candidates will be screen on the JAMB scores and their SSCE result.

The second phase of the screening is after the admission lists is out. Candidates who have merited the admission will be invited for another screening exercise. These are all the documents required, which must include;

  • Original copies of each candidate’s qualifications (Statements of Results/Certificates).
  • Candidates with awaiting results will NOT be accepted.
  • Birth Certification/Age Declaration.
