A brief history of this great academic citadel won’t hurt, right? The Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, Ogun State (FUNAAB) was established on the 1st of January, 1988 by the Nigerian Federal Government when four Universities of Technology, which was earlier merged in 1984, were demerged.

The separation of the four Universities of Technology led to the creation of the first two Universities of Agriculture in Abeokuta and Federal University of Agriculture, Makurdi (FUAM).

FUNAAB Courses and Requirements.

To every candidate seeking admission to study their choice course at FUNAAB, here’s the general FUNAAB admission requirement for all courses.

  • You are required to have at least, five (5) credit passes in your o’level result (i.e WAEC, NECO or its equivalent). You must obtain these result in no more than two (2) sittings.
  • You should be at least sixteen (16) years of age at the time the FUNAAB admission list will be out. Which is usually around September.
  • You have the score up to, or better still, above the Federal University of Agriculture Abeokuta cut off mark, to be eligible for the FUNAAB screening.
