Is ABUAD School Fees Expensive?

There have been lots of educative debates over the years if the ABUAD school fees are expensive, majorly because the founder of the university is a Philanthropist and Lawyer. But let’s not forget that the cost of running a privately owned university is huge, and the number of students isn’t that much.

However, I believe that with more parents open to sending their kids to private universities, their tuition fees will get less expensive because they’ll be having more students.

AFE Babalola University.

The Afe Babalola University is the only Private University Located in Ekiti state, Southwestern Nigeria. This private university was founded in 2009 as an Academic organization by Emmanuel Afe Babalola, who named the tertiary institution after himself, like other private universities, e.g Adeleke, Benson Idahosa, etc.

Afe Babalola University has been ranked as one of the best universities in Nigeria. This academic institution, even though the founder is a Christian, has no Religious Affiliation and welcomes students from various religious backgrounds and all parts of the country.

The Afe Babalola University offers degree courses cutting across Engineering, Medicine, Sciences, Arts, Law, Management and Social Science.

When it comes to getting admitted into Afe Babalola University, you may think it’s easy, but no. Getting admitted into ABUAD is quite competitive when compared to other private Universities. However, it is not as competitive as trying to get admitted into Federal and State government-owned Universities.

This academic institution employs about one thousand (1,000) staff. In conclusion, this University’s tuition fee is expensive, but worth it, a very disciplined tertiary institution where students have a Corporate dress code.

Students are provided with Accommodation, Wi-Fi, a Library, and well-built college buildings. The university also has a cafeteria, because according to the school’s structure, students are not allowed to cook food their meals in their hostels.

The Afe Babalola University JAMB/UTME Cut off Mark is pegged at 180 for the 2023/2024 academic session.
