Latest news reaching our news desk this morning is that a large number of Hoodlums have invaded the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) camp in Kubwa, Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, looting properties belonging to the camp and that is used for feeding corpers.
According to an eye witness, named Precious Ayuba, confirmed this incident via a phone call. As at the time this report was being filed, the looting is currently ongoing and it seems there is no stopping them, as security personnel are not on ground.
According to various sources we’ve contacted, they have verified the claim, saying that the hoodlums got wind that COVID-19 palliatives were stored in the NYSC camp, but reaching there, they could not find any food item.
Disappointed by what they saw, the hoodlums started looting anything and everything they could lay their hands on, including foams, chairs tables, television and other properties they could behold.
Recall that in the federal capital of Nigeria, FCT Abuja alone, about 3 locations where COVID-19 palliatives were stored have been looted with the Abuja NYSC camp being the latest one being looted dry by people who we thought are “normal” citizens. Seriously, there seems to be no difference between a thug and a normal citizen now, because the behaviour seems to be very uncanny.
So far, a higher pecentage of states where COVID-19 palliatives were stored have been looted, Hoodlums have been on the loose across the country, looting and destroying everything in their wake.
