If no, then I am happy to inform you about the N200,000 MTN Foundation scholarship scheme, which gives Nigerians a Huge sum of Money annually for their Tuition fees, etc. The MTN Foundation has awarded scholarship which is usually worth N200,000 per academic session to over 6,000 students of science and technology in some secondary schools across the country.
The Director of MTN Foundation, Mr. Denis Okoro, shared this information at the Regional Nominators’ Appreciation Dinner which was tagged: “What Can We Do Together (WCWDT) Initiative Phase 3”.
I am happy to notify and inform all Nigerians seeking for scholarship funds, that the MTN Nigeria Foundation Limited, which was established for the sole purpose of focusing MTN Nigeria’s efforts in terms of its Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives to help reduce poverty and provide financial assistance and sustainable development in Nigeria.

Taking our Newsline today, this foundation is currently inviting applications from high performing full-time second-year students, currently studying in public tertiary institutions (universities, polytechnics, and colleges of education) in Nigeria, Students from Private Universities are not eligible to apply.
Take note that the scholarship provides financial assistance to students who might otherwise be unable to pay for their tertiary education and aims to recognize and reward academic excellence in struggling students.
Be informed that this scholarship program will be awarded to applicants who are currently studying Science and Technology courses, and the scholarship funds will cover tuition, book allowance, and stipends.

Yes! Polytechnic students are qualified and eligible to Apply for the MTN Foundation Scholarship. However, Applicant must be in his/her ND2 to be eligible. Each Scholarship applicant must be in the above-specified field of Study before their Application to be considered.
What is the Number of students Awarded the MTN Scholarship Annually?
MTN awards 500 Scholars annually. Note that the list of candidates awarded the scholarship will be pasted on national newspapers, MTN’s official Social Media Handles and mails will be sent to winners.
