FUBK Courses and Requirements.

• The school management requires all candidates to possess a minimum of 5 credit passes in relevant subjects, including English Language and mathematics at GCE O’Level, WASCE, SSCE, NECO or approved equivalents at not more than 2 sittings.
• Candidates with Teachers Grade II (TC II) with passes at credit or merit levels in conjunction with credit passes in relevant subjects at GCE, WASCE, SSCE, NECO or approved equivalents may be considered for admission into the Federal University, Kebbi. However, the school admission board has disclosed that no subject may be counted at both TC II and GCE O/Level, WASCE, SSCE, NECO or approved equivalents.
• Each candidate is expected to score 180, 200 in JAMB to qualify for the Post UTME screening of this institution.

A Brief History of FUBK.

The Federal University, Birnin Kebbi is a Federal University located in Birnin Kebbi of Kebbi State, Nigeria. The Federal University Birnin-Kebbi (FUBK) was officially established on the 18th of February, 2013 by the Federal Republic of Nigeria under the leadership of his Excellency, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, GCFR, in line with the policy of the Government for establishing a Federal Universities in states without one across the 36 states of Nigeria.
