The University of Port Harcourt, Uniport Supplementary Admission registration, has commenced for the 2019/2020 academic session.
Using this platform, we wish to inform and notify members of the general public, especially, all aspirants/candidates whose name did not appear on the Uniport admission admission list, that applications are currently been invited from suitably qualified candidates who chose the University of Port Harcourt in the 2019 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination [UTME] to fill limited vacancies in the under-listed Programmes of Study:
IMPORTANT NOTE: Please take note that the Uniport supplementary admission registration form, is OPEN to candidates, who selected Uniport as their First choice and scored 120 and above in the Post UTME Screening Exercise for admission into the University of Port Harcourt in the 2019/2020 Academic session.
Eligibility and Qualification
It is very important to note here, that the Uniport supplementary admission is for candidates who scored 120 and above. It is open ONLY to candidates who selected the University of Port Harcourt as their first choice during JAMB registration.
If you scored any 119 or below, you’re not eligible to apply for the supplementary, as the school has pegged its Supplementary cut off mark at 120 and above (120 and above for candidates who participated in the Post UTME screening).
Please take note that for candidates who may not be admitted through Merit Admission, they can apply for supplementary admission into other programmes offered at the University.
Take note that candidates applying for the Uniport supplementary admission may not be admitted in their first choice departments.
Important Updates
1. It’s of utmost importance, that applying students should note, that ONLY candidates who meet the JAMB UTME Official Cut off Score of 180 and the University of Port Harcourt Minimum Post-UTME Score will be considered for admission.
2. For candidates who have met the above-described requirements, but are unable to secure placement in the area applied for would be moved to other related areas (course).
3. Please note that any form of inconsistency in name is not acceptable to the University and may lead to the disqualification of any candidates who fall into this category.
Candidates’ names on their O’level Certificates, Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) results and other registration documents must be the same.
Please note that the official closing date for all applications is Friday 25th October 2019.
