University of Port Harcourt – Uniport Admission Form for 2021/2022 Pre-Degree/Certificate Programmes

The University of Port Harcourt management board has announced the admission form for Uniport 2021/2022 Pre-Degree / Certificate Programmes. The academic institution is currently accepting applications from suitably qualified candidates, for admission into any of the following Pre-Degree Programmes in the 2021/2022 academic session.

Fine Arts & Design [FAD] Five O’ Level Credits in English Language and any other four Arts or Social Science subjects. English Language and any other three subjects as listed under the O’ level subjects

QUALIFICATION.

The school admission board disclosed that the Pre-degree Programme is currently open to applicants with a minimum of five (5) Credits including English Language and other relevant subjects not more than two sittings [in GCE, SSCE, NECO, NABTEB & TC II (TC II is applicable for applicants seeking admission into Faculty of Education)].

COURSE DURATION.

Take note that the Uniport pre-degree program is for a period of one year (one academic session).

HOW TO APPLY.

To apply for the University of Port Harcourt, Uniport’s pre-degree/certificate program, you need to visit the school’s portal, because the application is 100% online. To register, follow the guide below.

First, Log on to www.uniport.edu.ng and follow the instructions outlined. It is mandatory to pay a registration fee of N18,500.00 (Eighteen Thousand, Five Hundred Naira) only, excluding bank charges.

To pay for the registration, visit any of the uniport’s pre-degree designated banks nationwide to make payment. While filling the application form, candidates are required to use the same name on their O’Level certificate to fill the registration form online.

Finally, any applicant who supplied false information is automatically disqualified. All applicants must have personal and functional phone numbers and email addresses for further communication from the school and should visit the university website regularly for more updates.

CLOSING DATE: 21st November 2021.

APTITUDE TEST.

The University Aptitude Test will take place on 23rd November 2021. Take note that the Aptitude Test Venue shall be 2nd Floor, School of Basic Studies building, University Park.

Required Materials for the Screening Exercise.

Candidates have been mandated to come with the following materials and be at the Venue by 9:00 am for the screening exercise.

– A clear copy of the Photocard printed online.
– Biro, HB pencil, eraser.
– Non – Programmable Calculator.

Registration of successful candidates will be announced in due course.

IMPORTANT NOTE:

To transit to the Degree Programme, in addition to the required 5 Credits, the candidate must do the following listed below.

1. Pass the Prescribed pre-degree examinations.ASS THE PRESCRIBED PRE-DEGREE EXAMINATIONS

2. Applicants are required to have the Appropriate Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) Subject Combinations,

3. Finally, have the National minimum required score in the 2o21/2022 UTME and must have chosen the University of Port Harcourt.
