Reasons Why you may not be admitted:
These are the major reasons why students, even though they are eligible for admission, will not be offered admission into Unilorin. The following categories of candidates cannot be recommended for admissions
- Candidates with wrong UTME subject combination
- Candidates with incomplete O’Level requirements
- Candidates who have not uploaded their O’Level on JAMB portal/
- Candidates even though have uploaded their O’Level result on JAMB portal, it have not yet reflected on JAMB CAPS
Unilorin Admission Requirements:
Interested applicants seeking admission into the University of Illorin are required to meet up with their selected departmental requirements, including meeting up with several other general requirements.
UTME Cutoff marks and General Requirements:
Candidates seeking admission into the University of Ilorin through UTME (JAMB) are required to have scored at least five (5) credit passes in Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSSCE) in not more than two sittings.
Secondly, your JAMB score must not be less than 180. However, some courses required higher JAMB scores like Medicine, Law, etc. You can check the Unilorin cut off marks for admission here.
