UNILORIN Post UTME Registration, D.E Registration, Cut off Mark & Screening | 2019/2020

The University of Ilorin, UNILORIN post UTME registration, Direct Entry admission application and registration form for the 2019/2020 academic session has commenced.

Here is the step by step procedures and requirement, including everything you need to know about the Unilorin post utme application form and direct entry form for the 2019/2020 academic session.

This includes:

The University of Ilorin (UNILORIN) is using this medium, to invites all candidates who applied for admission into the University and has choose the academic institution as their First Choice either through UTME or Direct Entry, that they can now register for the post UTME screening exercise (Date for the registration will soon be announced).

Using this platform, we wish to inform and notify all candidates, aspirants that the Registration for the Pre-admission screening for UTME and Direct Entry candidates has commenced.

University of Ilorin Post UTME Registration is billed to commence from the 25th June to 20th July 2019.

Unilorin Post UTME / DE Qualification And Registration.

All interested applicants must have scored up to the required minimum cut off marks of 180 and ABOVE in the 2019 UTME for all courses, except those for which higher cut-off marks have been specified on the school portal.

Please take note of these following criteria for candidates that are qualified and eligible for the Post UTME screening:

1: To be qualified, the aspirant must have chosen the University of Ilorin their first choice either on their UTME or Direct Entry (DE) Registration form.

2: Each candidate must have obtained five (5) Credits in relevant ’O Level subjects, obtained at not more than two sittings except in MBBS where only one sitting is acceptable.

Unilorin Post UTME/Direct Entry Cut off Mark.

The school management has set it’s cut off mark for admission into the academic session at 180 marks, however, there are different cut off marks for different courses. You can check your chosen department cut off marks for 2019 Here.

Unilorin Post UTME / DE Qualification And Registration.

To commence your registration, you are required to visit the school website at www.unilorin.edu.ng, and when the webpage loads up on your device screen, Click on “ Pre-Admission Screening Procedure” then click on “Pre-Admission Screening Instructions” and carefully read the Registration Instructions.

After reading through the instructions, proceed and go to Unilorin Post UTME registration form by CLICKING HERE. When it loads up, type in your JAMB Registration Number, Surname, Email and Phone number in the boxes provided. Take note that this must be the same details you used during your JAMB 2019 Registration.

The very next step is for each UTME candidates to proceed and click on the “Get Details” Button on the website to get your JAMB information directly into the Unilorin Post UTME portal.

However, for all Direct Entry (DE) candidates, they should click on the ‘OK’ button on the dialog box displayed and enter their names; and Click on “Make Payment” link, which will direct them to the WEBPAY page.

Candidates who are qualified for the courses which they originally chose (scored 180 and above in JAMB), can now proceed to make payment for the CBT Post UTME screening exercise which cost Two thousand naira (N2,000).

Important Information.

All applying candidates should take note that if they’re are qualified for the course you choose, please proceed to make payment by supplying the required information below. However, If during your JAMB registration, the course you choose, but your jamb score is lower than the required cut off mark, please it is advisable to change the course as indicated on the payment page. Note that the sum of N2,500 is charged for change of course.

However, ALL UTME candidates who are not qualified for the course which they did not originally choose, should try to change their course as indicated on the payment page.

Please take note that the sum of Two thousand, five hundred Naira (N2,500) is charged for change of course.

How To Make Payment.

TO pay for the screening exercise, you are expected to select your ATM card type (e.g Verve, Visa or Master Card). Then enter the following:

  • Your Card Number.
  • Enter Your Card Expiry Date,
  • The card CVV2 (the 3 digits which can be found on the reverse side of the card)
  • Enter your card pin;

Then click on the Pay button to pay for the exercise.

Please take note of the following:

  • When the payment is going ‘Do not Refresh your browser’ as the process is going on, this is to avoid multiple deductions from your account.
  • Refreshing the page might cause the system to charge your account twice, and this might cause some complications.

However, if the page is loading and nothing is displayed after 10 minutes, just close the browser and restart the browser you are using again.

After a successful payment, visit P-UTME Registration page by CLICKING HERE to Login.

When you have successfully login to the portal, click on the “Continue Registration” Link on the main menu.

When it loads up, proceed and fill the page with your full requested bio-data and necessary details correctly.

All candidates should make sure that they upload their Passports by clicking on Browse button and select your picture.

Passport Requirement

  • Your passport must Not be more than 20KB.
  • Your passport must Not be more than 3 – 6 Month old.

All candidates applying for Unilorin post utme (UTME and DE) are required and expected to supply their O’ level (O/L) complete details.

All Awaiting Results (O’Level and A’ Level) must be uploaded on or before (Date to be announced soon) or any applicant with awaiting result will have their application canceled.

All candidates must select a screening center from the drop-down menu.

Please also take note that an alert will immediately be sent to your e-mail and phone number, which you provided in your bio-data during the registration.

We advise you to click on the “Print Tab” to print out the following details:
1; Pre-Admission Screening Registration form;
2; Scheduling Slip; and
3; Payment Receipt.

POST UTME Screening Exercise Details.

All candidates should take note that the Pre-admission Screening Exercise for the following:
UTME candidates,
Direct Entry (DE) candidates,
Remedial candidates.

Dates will be on each candidate’s printout.

Be aware that the screening test will be taken through the newly updated Computer Based Test (CBT) platform at Ilorin and Lagos Centres respectively.

Must Read For ALL Unilorin POST UTME Screening Students.

1; All eligible candidates applying for the pre-admission screening exercise are advised to be decently dressed for the test. All candidates who dressed indecently will not be allowed into the screening venues/examination hall.

2; Mobile Phones, including all other forms of mobile communication, electronic devices, bags, and luggage are not allowed within the screening premises.

3; We advise all eligible candidates to come along with their JAMB Original Result Slip, but it’s not compulsory and the school did not specifically ask for the original result. BUT do carry your printed jamb result slip with you.

4; Take note that only registered candidates for the screening exercise will be allowed into the screening premises.

5; All candidates should beware that the school is expecting each and every one of them to be at the screening center, latest an hour before their scheduled time and with the above printouts.

  1. Once you have completed your bio-data, proceed by clicking on Next Step button then click OK on the message dialog box.
  2. Please take note that all Direct Entry (DE) candidates should complete the programme of choice and click on Save, then click OK on the message dialog box.
  3. On completion of choice of Institution, all candidates should click on the “Next Step” button.

For Direct Entry (DE) candidates;

    • All Direct Entry candidates should be aware that they are required to select their Highest Academic Qualification(s) from the drop-down and click on Save. On the dialog box click OK;
    • To add more Higher Academic Qualifications, click on qualifications drop down to select your additional qualifications, click on save; and
    • Click on Next Step.

All candidates (both UTME and DE) are required to supply their O’ level (O/L) details as follows:

  • Pick the Number of sitting(s) by clicking on the drop-down button
  • You are also required to type in all the required O’ level (O/L) details; Pick as applied in your result; and
  • Click on the Submit button then click OK on the message dialog box.
  • There is an automatic disqualification at any stage of result falsification, don’t lie about your result.

Unlike other years, candidates can now pick their screening center from the drop-down menu. Note that an alert will be immediately sent to your e-mail provided in your bio-data.

Click Print Tab to print out the following information listed below:

  • Pre-Admission Screening Registration form;
  • Scheduling Slip; and
  • Payment Receipt.

On a final note, all candidates are expected and required to be at the screening center, minimum, an hour before their scheduled time with the above printouts and are decently dressed, or risk being pushed out of the screening hall.
