Well, goodnews for you, because the Nabteb May/June 2013 Examination Results has been released and we would also love to alert all candidates, who participated in the Nabteb screening examination, that they can now proceed to check their results.

The National Business and Technical Examinations Board, popularly known as NABTEB, had on Tuesday, released the results of the 2013 May/June National Business Certificate, NBC, and National Technical Certificate, NTC, Examinations, disclosing that 5,108 candidates were sanctioned for examination malpractices.
According to the Registrar/Chief Executive of the NABTEB Board, Dr. Olatunde Aworanti who called on the National and state assemblies to pass laws that would ensure the implementation of modern and well equipped technical colleges in all the local government areas in the country, with a view to boost technical education.
So as promised, here is a final breakdown of the results, students performances, examination stats, which shows us that a whooping number of 106,573 candidates enrolled for the examination nationwide but 103,753 candidates sat for the examination.
According to Dr. Olatunde, he said that out of the 103,753 that sat for the examination “28,230 representing 27.2 per cent obtained credit passes in five subjects and above including Mathematics and English language.
Also adding to the stats is this “Similarly, 55,115 candidates representing 53.1 per cent obtained five credits and above with or without English Language and Mathematics. Candidates enrolled in 36 trades, five trade related subjects and eight General Education subjects. The examination has the highest entry in Book Keeping with a total of 78,897.”
Dr Aworanti, who commended the Federal Government’s effort to strengthen technical education in the country, however, noted that the noble goal of technological advancement and sustainable development largely depended on the attention given to technical and vocational education by stakeholders.
In order to elevate the nation in technological advancement, he said this and we quote his exact words;
more collaborative partnership between public and private sectors should be employed in funding technical and vocational education.
