MAPOLY Rector Sacked by Ogun State Government

This is really serious, and surely, we did not expect this!.
Latest educational news reaching us today, is that the Ogun State Government has just sacked the Rector of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Abeokuta (MAPOLY).

Mr. Tokunbo Fowode, and announced the appointment of Prof. Bandele Itiola as his successor.

The state government has also frozen the accounts of the polytechnic in various banks till further notice.

I did not expect this to happen, and haven’t heard of any problem with the Rector or government house.

DO you think this is a right move on the government side or totally wrong to sack the rector?
