It seems like the Nigerian Tertiary institutions are in their most troublesome period, because schools after schools keep going on temporary shut down, as students protest mostly on school fee hike, and the University of Abuja is not exceptional here, as the students protest over strike embarked on by the school staff.
following students protest in the University of Abuja (Uniabuja) the school management team has temporarily shut-down the school, as hundreds of students troop out to register their agitation against the strike action, which was embarked upon by the Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU chapter of the institution, the school has been temporarily closed down.
According to the information which was sent to us, coming directly from the secretary in the office of the Vice Chancellor, further developments on this matter will be communicated in due course.
But the main issue here is that all students of the academic Institution are advised to vacate the school/hostels immediately.
