Here is everything you need to know about the Osun State University, UniOsun Post UTME registration, cut off marks for admission, Eligibility, Form and registration procedures for 2019/2020 applicants.

Using this medium, I would love to notify members of the general public, especially all candidates awaiting the Uniosun Post UTME exercise, that the 2019 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) screening exercise date has been announced. This information is for candidates who selected the Osun State University as their first choice during their UTME Registration or those willing to change their institution and make UNIOSUN their first choice.

To be eligible for the UniOSUN Post UTME screening, you must have scored a minimum score of 160 marks in your JAMB Result.

Uniosun Cut off Mark.

The school management has officially agreed to set their 2019/2020 cut off mark at 160. Although the cut off mark differs on courses/departments.

Still on the issue of Osun State University cut off marks, the school management has disclosed that candidates who scored less than 200 marks would not be considered for admission into any of the under-listed courses as mentioned below:

  • Accounting
  • Political Science
  • Nursing
  • Medicine
  • Law

However, the solution is quite simple. Candidates who chose any of the above-mentioned courses but scored less than 200 marks in their UTME result can do a change of course to any other relevant program of their choice that falls within their marks.

Eligibility.

The UNIOSUN management has disclosed that they will ONLY be admitting candidates who made at least five (5) credit passes in SSCE/NECO/NABTEB in the relevant subjects at not more than two sittings, except for Nursing and Law where you must have made it at one sitting only.

The Osun State University has also disclosed that they will be accepting a minimum of Lower credit for Direct Entry candidates.

Candidates should carefully provide their O’ Level details on the portal when registering for the Post UTME screening exercise. Any candidate who supplies false information in the Uniosun Portal would be prosecuted by law enforcement agencies and the admission of such candidates permanently canceled once discovered.

However, for candidates who are applying with awaiting results, they should endeavour to supply it within one week of release. Any candidate who fails to participate in the screening exercise will not be considered for admission into this institution.

How to Register for UNIOSUN Post UTME.

All candidates should take note that they are required to complete their Application form Online. All candidates who will be participating in this university Post UTME are expected to register through the University website: http://www.uniosun.edu.ng or http://admissions.uniosun.edu.ng. This is the school portal where you are required to complete and submit an application form.

Take note that you are expected to print two (2) copies of the application form after submission.

All candidates must make a payment of N2,000.00 (two thousand Naira) ONLY for the Post UTME Screening. This payment will be done through the Interswitch Web PAY platform using your ATM cards (Mastercard, Verve card and Interswitch enabled Cards.

DIRECT ENTRY CANDIDATES.

The school management has mandated that all Direct Entry candidates should complete the registration form online by accessing the University website here: http://www.uniosun.edu.ng or http://admissions.uniosun.edu.ng.

This is where you get to complete and submit an application form. Make sure you read the admission requirements of the University before applying to any of its programs. All Direct Entry (DE) candidates are required to forward their Academic Transcripts to the Registrar of Osun State University not later than Friday 6th September 2019.

It is also required that all Direct Entry candidates including UNIOSUN (IJMB, JUPEB) Programme, who are aiming for admission into the Osun State University for the 2019/2020 academic session, must have obtained Direct Entry form from JAMB portal are qualified to apply for the screening exercise.

UNIOSUN POST UTME CLOSING DATE.

Submission of forms closes at12.00 noon on Friday 9th August, 2019.

CHANGE OF INSTITUTION.

Candidates who wish to change from other Institutions and make the Osun State University (UNIOSUN) as their first choice and scored 160 in JAMB are automatically qualified to register for the Post-UTME Screening exercise.

But for candidates who have made the Osun State University (UNIOSUN) as their first choice but did find their names on the first choice list should use the “OTHER CHOICE” option for their screening registration and supply their correct information which will be verified accordingly once submitted.

CENTRAL ADMISSION PROCESSING SYSTEM (CAPS).

The Osun State University admission exercise for the 2019/2020 session will be based on Central Admission Processing System (CAPS).

JAMB Caps is a system which is uniquely designed by the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) to automate the admissions process of qualified candidates to tertiary institutions. All candidates are advised to upload their O’Level results to the JAMB CAPS portal. This is a pre-condition for admission set by the UTME board.

UNIOSUN REGISTRATION PORTAL.

Accessing the school portal is easy. You are required to visit the Uniosun Post UTME Portal via http://admissions.uniosun.edu.ng. This portal will take you to the online Application Platform where you can commence your registration.

It is very important that you carefully read all registration guidelines and instructions carefully before proceeding to register.
