The first thing that caught my attention about this University, is this: Pen Resource (PRU) University is the first private university in Gombe State. It’s something worth celebrating and worth mentioning.

This academic institution has been accredited by the National University Commission (NUC) to run undergraduate programs in 2021. Currently, this private university has three (3) faculties and seventeen (17) departments.

About Pen Resource University.

As I’ve earlier disclosed, this academic institution is the first private university in Gombe State and the second private university in the entire north east of Nigeria. It was established in 2021, approved by the Federal Executive Council (FEC) and accredited by the National Universities Commission (NUC) on the 6th of March, 2022.

This academic institution is providing a platform for the good people of Gombe, and the north east in general, to have access to some high-demand courses especially in much-wanted fields like Cyber Security, Computer Science, Software Engineering, etc.
