Application Guidelines and Requirements For all JAMB/UTME 2017 Applicants

Applicants with one of the following qualifications may be considered for admission by Direct Entry:

1. A minimum of five (5) subjects passed at not more than two sittings with at least two at the Principal or Advanced level of the G.C.E. and the others, at credit level of the SSCE/GCE, NTC/NBC.

All applying candidates should note that No subject shall be counted at both Ordinary and Advanced levels.

2. All applying candidates should note that two passes at the IJMB Advanced Level Examination or Cambridge moderated Schools of Basic Studies Terminal Examination or Institute of Baccalaureate from recognized institutions with SSCE/GCE, NTS/NBC credits equivalent in three other subjects (SUBJECT TO UNIVERSITY REQUIREMENTS).

3. All applicants are required to have passes in two major subjects in the NCE with S.S.C.E, NTC/NBC credits or equivalents in THREE other subjects (mainly for education Courses).

Please note that education may be accepted as a third A’Level subject for those taking courses in education.

Guidelines on How to Register for JAMB 2017/2018 eRegistration

1. Please note that the JAMB 2017/18 Forms are reportedly sold in only Two Banks which are listed below.

Zenith Bank
Guarantee Trust Bank.

Also note that the above mentioned banks are the only approved banks for buying JAMB 2017/18 Form for now.

The price of the form like previous years range between N4000-N5000 in addition with Bank Charges.

Although the 2017 jamb forms can be purchased at many cyber cafe and computer centres, it is advisable to buy it only from the Shortlisted banks or any accredited cyber cafe.

2. After you must gave purchased your form, you can register for JAMB at any Accredited Cyber Cafe and business centres.

Don’t get scammed by any of the Accredited Cyber Cafe and business centres, the price for registration should not exceed seven Hundred Naira (N700).

However, If you were charged above Seven Hundred Naira (NRN 700.00) for registration including printing of two copies of your e-Slip, Please send mail specifying your Registration Number and the amount charged to UTME2014.info@jamb.gov.ng.

How you Can Fill The JAMB Registration Form For Jamb 2017

We would advise you to make sure that you understand every step in the instruction before filling the form.

1. We advice all applying candidates to study the Brochure carefully before proceeding to fill the registration form.

This is to avoid making mistakes in filling the form.

Please note that the Sign in module enables you to validate your PIN and also, allows you to supply your basic personal details including your:

Biometrics and Passport Photograph.

Do note that your Biometrics, Passport Photograph and other Registration details can be captured online or offline.

These details shall be verified on first visit (Sign-In) and shall not be required subsequently.

Important Notice

Please note that you are liable for misplacement of your card as your details can be accessed by someone else if found.

PLEASE DO KEEP YOUR SCRATCH CARD SAVED AND SECURED.

After you have successful Sign-In, you will be redirected to the jamb 2017 registration page, if you have not registered.

If you have otherwise submitted your form, you shall be redirected to the home page so that you can have access to other facilities on your profile.

But if you’re still on the Registration form, the red asterics (*) appearing besides some text boxes of the forms is an indication that the option is compulsory and must be filled with valid data.

Also note that you cannot change your Exam Town after you have submitted your form.

SO please, before submitting the form, you are to make sure that everything is correct and accurate, don’t be in a haste to complete the registration, because you can’t edit it again.

After you must have filled in the form, and click on submit, on the confirmation Page, you will see Discard and Submit buttons.

Clicking the Discard button means you still have intention to re-visit your form and may make further changes.
Note that your registration form gets to JAMB board ONLY when you click on the “Submit” button.

On submission, you shall be redirected to Registration Slip page for printing.

Most Important Notice:

If you did not submit your form before the close of registration, your entry is forfeited and will not be counted! so please make sure you do everything according!
