EBSU Acceptance Fee Payment For 2017/18 Admission (Details)

Have you been offered admission into the Ebonyi State University? If yes, then you seriously need to read through this article. If your name appeared on the EBSU admission list or Merit admission list, you are all required to pay the EBSU acceptance fee, to verify and identify yourself with the academic institution.

Please note that you are required to pay a total sum of Twenty Five thousand naira, Fifty Kobo (N25, 050), which will be non-refundable after payment. Also note that you will be charged a transaction charge of N315.

We would also love to notify all candidates offered admission, that they are given three weeks from the date of this publication to complete action on the payment or risk losing the admission opportunity for the 2017/2018 academic session.

How To Pay the EBSU Acceptance Fee for 2017/2018

Step 1: To successfully make payment, please log on to www.emis.ebsu.edu.ng and follow the guides below.

When the EBSU portal loads up, you are required to click on the check admission status box, enter your registration number in the form provided, click on verify button to verify if you have been given admission to study in the university. If you have been offered admission into the academic institution, please take note you will be redirected to a congratulatory page where you can either print or click on a button to continue your registration.

When you choose to continue with your registration, be aware that you will need to provide an email and password to complete your registration which will be your login credentials into the EBSU portal for the duration of your stay in the school. When you complete your registration, you will receive an activation link in your email. For further instructions, download the registration manual from the portal homepage.

Once you’re done, follow step 2 below.

Step 2: Then proceed and report at the EBSU Admissions Unit with following documents listed below:

a: Your Original JAMB Result slip
b: Your Original O’level result(s) slip from any of the exam body in Nigeria. (SSCE/NECO or NABTEB)
c: Please note that you’ll need to bring your original LG.A. Identification Letter
d: Then bring along with Post UTME/PD Result slip(s).
e: Bring your EBSU Bursary receipt (ie. evidence of payment of N25,050 acceptance fee).

Before anything else, I would love to point out here, that once the time given for the registration of candidates offered admission into EBSU expires, your admission is cancelled. Except you paid for revalidation, etc. However, if the deadline date for the payment of EBSU acceptance fee payment expires, payments shall only be acceptable on revalidation/approval by the University as payment made behind approved schedule shall not be refunded.


After candidates offered admission has paid the non-refundable acceptance fee, candidates will be issued with an electronic receipt following payment, which the candidate can take to the school to receive the applicable service.

All candidates who have successfully paid the acceptance fee and print out the receipt, are advised to report to the EBSU admission Unit with the electronic receipt to obtain Original EBSU Bursary receipt (i.e. evidence of payment of N25,050 acceptance fee).
