JAMB Reschedules 2023 UTME for Candidates – ALL 2023 CANDIDATES READ THIS

Latest JAMB news reaching us today, is that the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has rescheduled the ongoing Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination for candidates who could not sit for the exam on Tuesday, April 25th, and Wednesday, 26th because of technical challenges.

According to JAMB’s Head of Public Affairs and Protocol, Dr Fabian Benjamin who disclosed this to the public, noted that about 100 centres out of the 708 JAMB CBT centres participating in the 2023 UTME exercise across the country, experienced technical challenges.

The JAMB PRO further announced that the series of challenges encountered was because of some novel features deployed by JAMB to make sure that issues like impersonation, examination malpractice, etc are curb, and the examination environment are safe and sound.

Dr Fabian further disclosed that this will help curb all incidences of examination misconduct being perpetrated and perpetuated by vested interests.

The statement read;

“Following the announcement, all candidates who are to write their examination on 26th, 27th, but could not because of technical reasons, are to print a new examination notification early tomorrow morning, Wednesday, 26th April, 2023, to know their new scheduled sessions.

“Out of the 708 approved JAMB CBT centres, 100 centres participating in the 2023 UTME exercise across the country, has experienced technical challenges that prevented their allotted candidates from successfully taking their examination.”

The JAMB board further disclosed that its technical team are tiredly working 24hours to ensure that tomorrow’s (Wednesday) and (Thursday) examination will have no issues. The board further disclosed its ccommitment to ensure a smooth examination for over 1.6 candidates who registered for the 2023 UTME.
