Using this platform, we wish to inform and notify members of the general public, especially all persons who have chose the Rivers State University of Science and Technology during the 2019 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, UTME Registration and have received notification to that effect from JAMB, that they hereby requested to take note of the following details and the information below:
Rsust Post UTME Cut Off Mark
The school management also released the cut off points which is required for all students to have scored in their UTME JAMB examination, before they are admitted.
All candidates who scored 180 and above in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) are qualified for the screening exercise in all the Faculties of the Rivers State University of Science and Technology (RSUST).
Rsust post UTME Registration Guidelines
All applying persons should be aware that the RSUST screening exercise for admission of candidates will be administered only to candidates who have chosen RSUST as their first choice during their registration, and scored above 180.
The school requires all candidates to possess the normal five (5) O’ level credit passes in accordance with the University’s Entry Requirements (Faculty/Departmental) which they must have scored before applying for the Screening Exercise.
All applying candidates should be informed that the school management has made it mandatory that Candidates should upload their O ‘Level results and a scanned copy of their passport photograph to ensure their success.
However, candidates who are awaiting their O’level results may also apply but should upload their result when it is released, so as not to make the school dismiss you.
The school also disclosed that they are expecting all candidates to register for the screening exercise On-line by logging onto www.ust.edu.ng
When the school portal loads up on your browser, you are required to make an e-payment of Six Thousand, and Thirty Naira (N6,030.00) only, which you can pay using your Interswitch Verve enabled cards.
Breaking down the six thousand, thirty naira here’s it:
The Examination Fee is Four Thousand, Two Hundred and Eighty Naira (N4,280.00)
While the Computer Demonstration Exercise is Six Hundred Naira (N600.00)
The Brain Friend Study CD costs One Thousand, One Hundred and Fifty Naira (N1,150.00).
Please, all applying candidates should take note that the screening exercise is ELECTRONIC. This is to say that the mode of the RSUST post utme screening exercise will be Electronic. It is of utmost importance, that all candidates should practice how to use the JAMB CBT exercise.
All candidates should know how to use the computer especially the use of mouse and keyboard before they turn up for the RSUST post utme screening exercise.
Also, in addition, all applying candidates should note that the Information Technology Centre (ITC) may be conducting a 1-week demonstration session prior to the examination date to candidates for the screening exercise.

The school management also announced that the registration for the Post-UTME screening exercise will commence from (yet to be announced for 2019).

The Rivers State University of Science and Technology, RSUST also announced through the school’s portal, that the Post-UTME screening exercise is scheduled to take place at the Information Technology Centre (ITC) of the University.
Candidates should be aware that their Post-UTME screening exercise date is on slip they printed out after their On-line registration.
The rsust post utme date, time and venue shall be indicated in the Post-UTME examination slip of each candidate.
Please take note that the school management will not give special consideration to candidates who fail to appear for the screening exercise on the scheduled date and time.
What to Bring to the Examination Centre
Below are the requirements every candidate are required to come along with, to the screening exercise hall.
You are expected to come to the examination venue with your Post-UTME exam slip, which you must have printed out during the On-line Post-UTME registration.
It may be necessary to come along with your JAMB Original Result Slip with your passport photograph on it, though it’s not a must.
The school forbids candidates to bring in their mobile phones to the screening exercise hall.
It’s paramount that Parents, Guardians, and friends of candidates are not allowed near the premises of the screening exercise, even if they come, they will have to stay outside the school’s gate.
ALL candidates who will be sitting for the post utme exercise must be at the examination venue one (1) hour before the scheduled exam time on their exam slip, to help solve seat issues.
