Federal Polytechnic Oko (Okopoly) Admission into ND and HND Part-Time (Weekend Programme) 2017/18

Information just reaching the dailyschoolnews team, is that the Federal Polytechnic, Oko also known as OKOPOLY, which was approved by the Anambra State Government in 1979 as a College of Arts and Science, and to the joy of many, in June, 1980, OKOPOLY was upgraded to College of Arts, Science and Technology.

Also upgrading, in the year 1985, an Edict of the Anambra State Government formalized the status of the College as a Polytechnic and officially named the academic institution Anambra State Polytechnic, Oko.

I would love to notify all candidates, that Applications are currently being invited from eligible and qualified candidates into the under-listed part-time National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) programmes, (three years duration each) of Federal Polytechnic, Oko, for the 2017/2018 Academic Session.

Breaking News: Okopoly national diploma admission list and okopoly supplementary admission list has been released for the 2017/18 academic session.

Entry Requirements

→. Applicants to the ND programmes must possess any me the following:

1. At least five (5) credits in the O Level WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB.
Including any of the subjects below.

English Language.
Mathematics.

Which you must score at not more than two sittings except in Urban and Regional Planning where, at least, a pass in English Language is required.

→. In addition to the above, applicants to the HND Programmes must possess a National Diploma with a minimum of Lower Credit in the relevant programmes obtained from Federal Polytechnic, Oko or an equivalent institution accredited by the National Board for Technical Education.

→. Evidence of a minimum of one (1) year post-ND cognate work experience.
In exceptional cases, ND diplomats with a pass of (CGPA of 2.00— 2.49) and Industrial Experience of not less than two (2) years in the specific field may be considered for admission into the HND programme.

Also note that the e-tranzact pin costs N6,000 (six thousand, five hundred Naira only)

When the website opens up, please fill in the application with your correct details and submit the applications online.

Do submit the online acknowledgement slip together with the following:

→. Three (3) recent passport photographs.
→. Two self-addressed and stamped envelopes.
→. Photocopies of credentials must be returned in a large envelope to reach the Registrar.
(Evening Programme).

Applicants who are not ND graduates of Federal Polytechnic, Oko, are to apply to their institutions for forwarding of their Academic Transcripts to the Registrar- (Evening Programme), quoting the Department the candidate is applying for applications from such applicants will not be processed until the transcripts are received.
