Nigeria has gone through one of its most testing period, and it affected everything, including NECO examination. Thank God Nigeria is peaceful, and everything is returning back to normacy.
THE NECO MANAGEMENT HAS ANNOUNCED THE RESUMPTION OF THE 2020 SENIOR SCHOOL CERTIFICATE EXAMINATIONS (INTERNAL).
Using this podium, I’ll love to reachout to all concerned Nigerians, especially candidates of the National Examinations Council (NECO), that the resumption date for the 2020 Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE) in all states and the FCT has been announced, and it’s Monday, 9th November, 2020.
The National Examinations Council (NECO) was pressured to postpone the examinations indefinitely on Monday 25th October 2020, due to the ENDSARS protests, that rocked the entire nation, and throw into confusion, the smooth conduct of the examinations in major cities of Nigeria.
Following the return of normalcy in the states and FCT Abuja, the National examinations council will now continue it’s examination using a new Time-Table, and the examination is scheduled to commence on Monday 9th November 2020 and ends Saturday, 28th November 2020.
Take note that this new Time-Table will be made available to the general public, schools and candidates from Wednesday 4th November 2020. The new Neco TimeTable can also be seamlessly downloaded from the NECO official website and Dailyschoolnews when it’s released.
Using this medium, the NECO management board would love to thanks the general public and candidates for their patience and understanding during the period the SSCE was suspended due to the protest. NECO assures the general public of quality service in the discharge of her statutory responsibilities at all times.
Signed by Azeez Sani, Head Information and Public Relations Division of the National Examination Council (NECO).
