LATEST educational news reaching the Dailyschoolnews Nigeria news desk today, is that the Federal Polytechnic, Oko is currently inviting applications are suitably qualified and eligible candidates for admission into the under-listed Part-Time National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) Programmes for the 2015/2016 academic session.

APPLICATION AND ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
WE would also love to inform all applicants, who are applying for admission into the ND programme, they must possess at least five (5) credits in the O Level WAEC, NECO, OR NABTEB, which must includes the following subjects:
English Language,
Mathematics at not more than two sittings.
The school administration also disclosed that all applicants, applying for admission to the HND Programmes must possess a National Diploma with a minimum of Lower Credit in the relevant programmes obtained from Federal Polytechnic, Oko or an equivalent institution accredited by the National Board for Technical Education.
Guidelines For Application
The federal Polytechnic Oko is requiring all applicants to purchase a scratch card from any branch of the under-listed banks nationwide, which is sold for Six Thousand, five hundred naira (N6,500.00) only:
i. Zenith Bank Plc v. Union Bank Plc
ii. First City Monument Bank Plc.
iii. Oko Microfinance Bank
iv. Isuofia Microfinance Bank
Vi. Skye Bank
We would also love to inform all applicants that the school is requesting them to visit the Academic Institution’s Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Centre, Oko Campus, where they will be filling and submit their application forms through the school online portal.
Please take note that you are required to come along with the following details:
Your online acknowledgement slip,
Three (3) recent passport photographs,
Two self-addressed and stamped envelopes,
Including photocopies of credentials, which must be returned in a large envelope to reach the Registrar (Admissions, Weekend Programme).
It is very important for all applicants who are not National Diploma (ND) graduates of the Federal Polytechnic, Oko, are to apply to their academic institutions for forwarding of their Academic Transcripts to the Registrar (Admissions, Weekend Programme), where they are required to quote the Department the candidate is applying for.
Take note that applications from such applicants will not be processed until the transcripts are received.
