Covenant University (CU) Banned Students From Using ipad, Tablets, Techno, Etc

If you don’t know Covenant University, well, you must not have been a huge fan of Private Universities, because this is one of the BEST private Universities in Nigeria.

However, latest report reaching us today, from the great citadel of learning, Covenant University, Is that the academic institution has banned its student from using or being in possession of gadgets such as SIM enabled tablets and more.

The University, which is situated in Ota, Ogun State, is known for its strict punitive rules and low tolerance any form of misconduct among its students, and all students over there are believed to behave well, or they might face been expelled from the school, which is under the control of Bishop David Oyedepo, who is the school Vice-Chancellor.

According to a statement released yesterday by the institution’s Dean of Student Affairs, Mr. Azubuike, the school is placing a ban on the use of “phone chargers, SIM Cards, and SIM enabled devices [like] iPad, Techno, Samsung and other unpopular tab brands” in the school.

According to the release any student found with these prohibited materials will be punished with a 4-week suspension from the school.

We hope that through this report, all potential students of the above institution are to ensure strict compliance with the rules to enable them stay in peace within this great school.
