Educational news reaching our news platform today, is that 9 out of 7,811 students, who graduates from Unical, came out with 2st class honor.
According to the Vice Chancellor of the University of Calabar, Professor James Epoke, who disclosed yesterday, that the academic institution will at her 28th convocation ceremony, which was held on the 14th of March, produces a total of Seven thousand, eight hundred and eleven (7,811) graduates.
According to the vice chancellor, a total number of 9 persons will graduate with First class honours, which is the highest number of first class recorded by the institution in the past ten years.
Here’s a breakdown of graduands scores:
6,871 Undergraduates;
391 Masters;
120 Phd;
429 Post Graduate Diplomas.
The VC went further, to mentioned that the issue of ‘sorting’ has been reduced to the barest minimum and other social vices have also been tackled by the school board.

“The school campus is calm, peaceful, untroubled and tranquil. You can see students hanging around the corners reading their books undisturbed, unmolested”.
