LATEST educational news reaching our news desk today, is that the University of Benin (UNIBEN) POST-DIRECT ENTRY Screening Exercise for 2015/2016 Academic Session has been scheduled by the school management, and will be taking place between these dates.
28th September, 2015 – 29th September, 2015.
The Location are:
Designated centres within Ugbowo Campus of the University.
All candidates should take note that the Screening Exercise has already been arranged to be conducted using the Computer Based Test (CBT) mode.
The school management discloses that all candidates are expected to be seated, latest one hour before the stipulated time for the screening exercise, so that all other dues will be followed.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
This is important, because several candidates applied, so all applicants should take note that ONLY those qualified and eligible for this screening, are those candidates who applied through JAMB for DIRECT ENTRY Admission and chose University of Benin as their First Choice.
Step By Step Procedures For Applying:
All candidates should take note that all applications should be done between 7.00am, 10th September, 2015 and Midnight 24th September, 2015.
The guidelines and procedures for the 2015/2016 PUDE Entry Screening application is as follows:
Step 1. All candidates are required to visit www.uniben.edu
Step 2. All candidates are advised to have a valid e-mail account which is functional, before starting the application process.
Step 3. When each candidate visits the uniben.edu portal, they are required to click on “Student Portal”
Step 4. They are also required to click on “Register for Application”, which is located and can be found at the top left of the display page to proceed.
Step 5. Also ensure that you enter your Surname exactly as written on the JAMB Registration slip and your JAMB Registration Number immediately, ONLY then will your ID and Password will be displayed on the browser screen.
Step 6. On the https://uniben.waeup.org, just proceed and click on ‘Login’ (which can be found at top right of front page).
Step 7. Proceed and enter your Username and the password to login.
Step 8. To commence your application and registration process, please click on ‘Application record’. When it loads up on your browsers screen, please ensure you provide all required information and upload your passport photograph.
Step 9. Also ensure that you upload a RECENT and CLEAR “1×1” COLOUR PASSPORT PHOTOGRAPH WITH RED BACKGROUND IN JPEG FORMAT ONLY.
IMPORTANT NOTE.
Please be informed that the photograph which you uploaded, will be the only valid ID for all admitted candidates throughout their stay in the University of Benin.
Please take note that FAILURE ON YOUR PART TO SUCCESSFULLY UPLOAD THE SPECIFIED PASSPORT PHOTOGRAPH WILL LEAD TO DISQUALIFICATION and failure/forfeitures of your admission.
Step 10. The next step is to pay for the registration, and you can accomplish this, using the procedures below.
a) For you to pay for the Application, click on “Add online payment ticket” which is located at the bottom of the page,
b) Then proceed and click on “College Pay” on the top left corner of the page, after that, just proceed and follow the instruction which will give you details on how to pay the application fee of Two thousand (N2,000:00;) ONLY.
(The fee excludes other charges),
c) While the PUDE past questions costs One thousand Naira (N1,000:00 (optional); and this excludes an Interswitch and Portal Services charges with an ATM-Enabled Verve or Master Card from any Commercial Bank.

The next step to take, is to preview and confirm your information before submitting your application online. (No correction will be accepted after the closing date).
Step 11. Proceed and print out an acknowledgement slip that contains your full details.
All candidates are advise to revisit the school portal on the 25th September, 2015 to check for the venue and specific date and time for which their examination has been scheduled.
Please take note that Mobile phones, GSM phones and calculators are NOT allowed into the examination hall.
Another important note candidates should fully be aware of, is that the application website has been automated to close by Midnight on the 24th September, 2015 (i.e. all applications must be concluded online not later than 24th September, 2015).
It’s important for all applicants to hear this, that candidates who pay after the deadline will not sit for the examination.
