We gathered that the Afe Babalola University (ABUAD), had during its 3rd Convocation Ceremony, successfully graduated more than 736 students.
Out of the Seven hundred and Thirty Six students, a whooping total number of 65 of the graduating students bagged first class degrees,
While another 339 made Second Class (Upper Division), 258 graduated with Second Class (Lower Division) while 74 made Third Class.
During the 3rd convocation ceremony, the the Founder and Chancellor of the tertiary institution, Aare Afe Babalola, urged all well-to-do Nigerians to invest in quality education for Nigerians both the youths, anyone who is ready to learn, stating that this particular educational sector, is a very “serious and expensive exercise”.
Also in attendance, is the former Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Prof. Attahiru Jega,
Former Chairman of the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offence Commission (ICPC), Justice Emmanuel Ayoola,
Catholic Bishop of Sokoto Diocese, Most Rev. Matthew Kukah and the Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi who were among those bestwed with honorary degrees.
