The Latest confirmed news reaching us today, is that the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) management, has assured all corp’s members of their 2020 March and April payment soon, despite the lockdown due to the CoronaVirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
Speaking on the NYSC payment to corps members for the March and April allowance, the management of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) assured Corps members that the board will pay the allowances for March and April, despite the fact that the monthly clearance exercise will not be done due to the Corovarinus pandemic lockdown in various Nigerian states.
Speaking on this issue, the Director-General (D.G), Brigadier-General Shuaibu Ibrahim, assured Corpers nationwide that they’ll receive their payment soon. He disclosed this information through the Director of Public Affairs, Mrs. Adenike Adeyemi.
“As we earnestly look up to the Almighty God for help on this COVID-19 virus and it’s vaccine, the NYSC management wishes to reassure all corps members once more that allowances for the months of March and April shall be paid to everyone, without recourse to the monthly clearance exercise. The board enjoins all corp members this period to stay calm, stay safe, and religiously follow the safety precautions given from time to time by the National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC). Corp members should always stay tuned to our traditional and new media platforms”.
