Just some few days before the Nigeria 2015 Presidential election, the Lagos State University has announce a compulsory break for staff and students of the academic institution.
This information was contained in a press statement, which came directly from the management of Lagos state University (lasu), in which, it discloses, that the management board of the academic institution, has approved a compulsory break for all staff and students starting from the 23rd of March 2015.
Here’s the statement and we quote them below:
‘In less than four days, the National and state elections, which has been scheduled to hold on the 28th of March and April 11th respectively, the Lagos State University senate, has declared a recess, which is both compulsory for the staff and students with effect, starting from Monday, the 23rd of March.
We’re therefore, using this platform, as a means to inform and notify all students and staff, to vacate the campus immediately. The date of resumption will be announced later through www.Dailyschoolnews.com.ng/lasu.
