28 Nigerian Universities Made The List of Best Universities In Africa

Yes, you read that right. After the rating of the best universities in Africa, out of the 100 Universities, 28 universities are in Nigeria, and it a thing of joy to know, that as a country, our educational sector is moving forward.

This information which was disclosed by the Executive Secretary, Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFUND), Professor Suleiman Bogoro, had yesterday disclosed that Twenty eight (28) Nigerian universities were ranked among the best tertiary institutions in Africa.

According to the statement he released, which is quoted below;

“Four to five years ago, no Nigerian university was ranked among the top 100 in Africa, but today, the story is different as more than quarter is made up of Nigerian Universities and 2016 is going to be the best!

Professor Suleiman Bogoro also went on to mentioned that over the last four years, TETFUND had made huge investment in tertiary institutions across the country, to making education easier for all Nigerians and the institutions.
