University of Jos (unijos) 2014/2015 POST-UTME Screening Application Form

Using this platform, the Dailyschoolnews Nigeria team wishes to inform the general public, and most especially, all candidates who scored 180 and above and have made University Of Jos their preferred Institution in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations (UTME) that the 2014/2015 Post-UTME Forms is now on sale, and they can now purchase the form. But before proceeding to buy the form, please read the terms of service, guidelines and requirements.

All aspirants/candidates of the above mentioned academic institution will be required to participate in the Computer Based Post-UTME Screening Exercise for the 2014/2015 Academic Session.
Each candidate shall, on registration, be scheduled for the screening, starting from Monday, the 14th of July to Saturday, the 19th of July, 2014.
The University official portal www.unijos.edu.ng will be opened from the 30th of June to the 19th of July, 2014 for the online registration of candidates who have chosen the University of Jos as their choice.

Candidates Qualification and Eligibility

Using this platform, we wish to inform and notify all candidates who made the University of Jos their choice and also scored 180 marks and above in the 2014 UTME JAMB examination that this is the first step to make sure that you’re eligible.

Examination Venue: Multipurpose Auditorium, Bauchi Road Campus, University of Jos, Jos.
Examination Time: The computer based screening shall commence at 8:00am daily.

MUST Read Guidelines and Instructions

All applying candidates are expected to be at the screening centre, one hour before the scheduled time allotted to them. so as to make sure that they don’t miss the exams. Examination starts the exact time as shown above. (8:00a)

Any candidate who fails to come for the screening exercise will automatically forfeit the chance of being considered for admission in the unijos 2014/2015 academic session.

Withholding information or provision of wrong information will lead to instant disqualification of such candidate, so please ensure you tell the truth about any question you’re asked by the school management board.

All applying candidates are strongly advised not to come to the screening centre with any electronic device such as GSM Phones, iPods, iPads, bags, etc., as these items will not be allowed inside the screening hall.

Please, all Parents, Guardians and other unauthorised persons are not allowed within the screening venue during the Post-UTME screening.

This may lead the school leadership board to automatically forfeit such candidates chance of been admitted in the school.

The University of Jos (Unijos) does not condone any form of examination malpractice. Anyone who is found in any form of examination malpratice shall be handed over to the law enforcement agents for prosecution in addition to being disqualified from the school.

Examination Screening Date

(i) Monday, the 14th of July to Tuesday, the 15th of July, 2014 – For candidates who applied for courses in the following Faculties as listed below:

Medical Sciences,
Pharmaceutical Sciences,
Natural Sciences,
Environmental Sciences,
Education Sciences & Technology/Rehabilitation Sciences.

The following subjects will be examined:
English Language,
Mathematics,
Biology,
Physics,
Chemistry.

(ii) Wednesday, which is the 16th of July and Thursday, the 17th of July, 2014: For candidates who applied for courses in the following Faculties as listed below:
Social Sciences,
Management Sciences & Education Social Sciences/Management Sciences.

The following subjects will be examined:
English Language,
Mathematics,
Economics,
Government.

(iii) Friday, 18th & Saturday, 19th July, 2014 – For candidates who applied for courses in the Faculties of:
Law,
Arts,
Education Arts.

The following subjects will be examined:
English Language,
History,
Government.

Important Note:

All candidates who will be sitting for the PostUTME should note that the results of the Post-UTME screening will be available on the University of Jos official website: www.unijos.edu.ng on Wednesday, which is the 23rd of July, 2014.

Detailed Guidelines and Instructions For Candidates

Each candidate who will be sitting for the post utme examination shall pay a non-refundable fee of Two Thousand Naira (N2,000.00) only for the screening and for accessing their results.

All aspirants should note that the payment shall be made online at the University of Jos (unijos) official website by using ATM (Verve & MasterCard) cards of any bank enabled for web-based payment.

There after, a receipt number and a confirmation order number will be issued for online registration, which can be done on the school official portal.
You can proceed and Log on to www.unijos.edu.ng for the registration procedures and proceed with registration.

Please note that all forms of registration for the Post-UTME screening is only concluded when the scheduling of the venue, date and time of the test is automatically generated for each candidate.

All aspirants/candidates should print out the schedule , and this must be brought along for the screening exercise.
Candidates are to come to the venue with copies of their JAMB result slip and the schedule slip only.
