2014/2015 Rivers State Polytechnic Post-UTME Registration Application

Using this medium, we wish to inform and notify members of the general public that the Rivers State Polytechnic (RIVPOLY), Bori, is using the www.Dailyschoolnews.com.ng platform, to send out invitation application from suitably interested and qualified candidates to the 2014/2015 Post-UTME screening exercise.

Candidates Qualification:

We wish to notify all candidates who chose the academic institution (either as Most preferred, More Preferred or Preferred) and scored 150 and above are qualified for the Rivpoly 2014 POST UTME examination.

DURATION OF PROGRAMMES

Like most Higher National Diploma (HND) Programme, this programme is scheduled and planned to last for two academic sessions of two semesters each, while the Pre-National Diploma (Pre-ND) Programme would last for one academic session of two semesters.

Entry Requirements For Rivers State Poly HND Programme 2014/2015

All aspirants of the minimum requirements for admission into the Higher National Diploma are as listed below:

1. The National Diploma (ND) from the Rivers State Polytechnic, Bori or other recognized and accredited Polytechnic, with a minimum grade of LOWER CREDIT in relevant discipline.

2. All applying candidates must be in possession of the entry requirement for the corresponding National Diploma (ND) Programme.

3. Please note that the possession of a credited one year Post National Diploma Industrial work Experience in approved Establishment, Industrial or a Business Organization is required too.

4. In exceptional cases, National Diploma (ND) Holders who had a pass (CGPA of 2.00-2.49) in the ND examination with two or more years of cognate experience in the specific fields may be considered for admission into HND Programme by the school admission board.

Guidelines on How To Apply

Here’s the official guidelines on how to register for the 2014 RivPoly POST UTME exercise:

All interested candidates who wish to apply for HND,Pre-ND and ND programs of the Rivers State Polytechnic, Bori shall proceed to any branch of the following underlisted banks:
Union Bank,
FCMB Nationwide

When you reach the bank, you are required to make payment of N16,300
Here’s the breakdown of the 16,300 Naira.
N15,000 for Form,
N1000 Portal Access Charge and N300 Bank Charges.

the school requires you to provide the following details:

1. UTME registration number
2. Name
3. Email
4. Phone Number and any other detail

STEP 2: After making the payment, bank shall issue a receipt with Confirmation Number to candidate.

STEP 3: Please all candidate should visit the homepage of the Rivers State Polytechnic website. www.rivpolybori.edu.ng, then proceed and click on “APPLICATION FOR ADMISSION” and do the following as shown below:

i: Make sure that you enter the confirmation number, which can found on your bank printout into a box provided and click on “submit”.

ii: Note that if your payment is successfully validated by the school official portal, you will be prompted to create a password profile you will be using for further logins.

iii: After creating a profile, you can proceed and login afresh, using your UTME Number, please note that the password you created and the Full Application Form will open. Fill-in the Applicant’s Particulars Form.

Note that you MUST provide the school your active email address and phone number, because this will be the only means, by which the school will contact you and send you information.

Step 4: Please note that on successful completion, you would receive an SMS alert from the school.

Step 5: After that, we advise and it’s advisable too, that you make a print out a copy of the Online Application Form for keeps and verification purpose. Do make sure that you cross check the printed form to ensure that information which you supplied are correct, you can’t edit your form after submission. You can login again to make any observed correction.

Step 6: Once you have done this, you can logout. Don’t worry, the school will contacted in due course if successful.

Application Deadline

All applying candidates should note that the deadline for the submission of Application Form is the 31st of October, 2014.
