The ASUP fight to make sure that their demands are met before they return to classrooms may be suffering a setback with some polytechnics pulling out of the strike every day/week.
Like we all are aware of, the Academic Staff Union Of Polytechnics (ASUP) did boarded on an indefinite strike action to force the Federal Government to implement the agreement reached with the union since their last agreement.
It would be re-called that on Thursday, the 22nd of May, 2014, the federal Polytechnic, Bida pulled out of Asup Strike. Last Month, Federal Polytechnic, Kebbi also suspended the strike and trending right now, is that Federal polytechnics Nekede have successfully pulled out and will be commencing academic activities on the 9th of June 2014.
The Hussaini Adamu Federal Polytechnic, Kazaure in Jigawa State, Akanu Ibiam Polytechnic.
According to the latest report on our news desk, the Academic Staff Union of Polytechnics (ASUP) Federal Polytechnic Nasarawa Chapter has officially pulled out of the ongoing ASUP nationwide strike and will be commencing activities on Monday, 9th June, 2014.
The Academic Staff Union of Polytechnics (ASUP) has been on strike for the past eight-month, while Colleges of Education and Academic Staff Union, COEASU, have been on and six-month strike.
