Using this Medium, we the NigeriaOpenUniversity Team wishes to inform the general public that the National University Commission popularly called NUC, has shared the List of Unaccredited Degree Awarding Educational Institutions

All degree certificates which were obtained from any of the educational institutions listed below is Illegal and should remain un-acceptable to the Nigerian Society. Below, we decided to share with you, the list of educational institutions which the Nigerian general public should beware of and till this schools are verified and accepted by the NUC, we think it is pretty obvious that their admission will be valueless too.

1. Christians of Charity American University of Science and Technology, which is located in Nkpor, Anambra State or any of her other campuses, schools or educational institution located in Nigeria and beyond.

2. University of Industry,Yaba, which is located in Lagos State or any of her educational institution located in Nigeria and beyond.

located in Okija, Anambra State or any other of her educational institution in Nigeria.

11. Samuel Ahmadu University.
Which is located in Makurdi, Benue State or any of her educational institution located in Nigeria and other Africa Country.

12. UNESCO University, located in Ndoni, Rivers State or any of her schools in Nigeria and beyond.

13. Saint Augustines University of Technology.
Which is located in Jos, Plateau State or any of her educational institution in Nigeria.

14. The International University, Missouri, USA,
Of which is located in Kano and Lagos Study Centres, or any of her educational campuses in Nigeria.

15. Collumbus University, UK which is operating in any location in Nigeria is affected.

16. Tiu International University, UK, which is operating in any local region in Nigeria is affected.

17. Pebbles University, UK.
This educational institution which is functioning anywhere in Nigeria is affected.

18. London External Studies UK.
Which is operating and functioning anywhere in Nigeria has been disable and affected.

19. Pilgrims University.
Anywhere this educational institution is operating in Nigeria, NUC has just disable her licence in Nigeria.

This educational institution, whatever her location in Nigeria, is affected and her licence to teach has been withdrawned.

Which is located in Okija, Anambra State, Nigeria.

35. Open International University.
Which is located in Akure.

36. Middle Belt University (North Central University).
Which is located in Otukpo.

37. Leadway University.
Which is located in Ughelli, Delta State.

38. Metro University.
Which is located in Dutse/Bwari, Abuja.

39. Southend University.
Which is located in Ngwuro Egeru (Afam) Ndoki, Rivers State.

40. Olympic University.
Which is located in Nsukka, Enugu State.

41. Federal College of Complementary and Alternative Medicine.
Which is located in FCT Abuja.

42. Temple University.
Located in Fct Abuja.

43. Irish University Business School London, operating anywhere in Nigeria and beyond.

44. National University of Technology.
Which is located in Lafia, Nasarawa State, Nigeria.

45. University of Accountancy and Management Studies.
Which is located in Mowe, Lagos- Ibadan Express way and its Annex at 41, Ikorodu Road, Lagos State, Nigeria.

46. University of Education, Winneba Ghana, operating anywhere in Nigeria and beyond.

47. Cape Coast University, Ghana,operating anywhere in Nigeria and above.

In addition to the closure, the following Degree Mills are currently undergoing further investigations and/or ongoing court actions, which will be revealed in future time.
The purpose of these actions is to prosecute the proprietors and recover illegal fees and charges on subscribers of the educational institution.

1. National University of Nigeria, Keffi, Nasarawa State.

2. North Central University, Otukpo, located in Benue State, Nigeria.

3. Christ Alive Christian Seminary and University, located in Enugu State.

4. Richmond Open University.
Which is located in Arochukwu, Abia State.

5. West Coast University.
Which is located in Umuahia.

6. Saint Clements University, Iyin Ekiti.
Which is located in Ekiti State, Nigeria.

7. Volta University College, Aba, Abia State.

8. Illegal Satellite Campuses of Ambrose Alli University.

To erase doubt on your mind about the above listed educational institution, anybody who patronises or obtains any certificate from any of these illegal institutions does so at his or her own risk.
Certificates obtained from these sources will not be recognized for the purposes of the following:
NYSC.
Employment.
Which you will use to further your studies.

All relevant Law enforcement agencies in Nigeria and other affected countries have also been informed for further necessary action to be taken against the above listed institution.
