Nigerian Army Releases Names Of Shortlisted Candidates For DSSC Course

Nigerian Educational Information Reaching us today is that, the Nigerian Army has just released the list of her Admitted candidates for Direct Short Service Commission Course for the year 2012.

All candidates whose names are Short listed in the admission list were successful at the Direct Short Service Commission (DSSC) Selection Board 2012 as showned in the admission list.
If your name is on the list, you are required to report for the Officer Cadet Training at NASME, which is located in Makurdi.
You are to report on the above location on the 9th of September, 2012.

General Instructions For The Nigerian Army Shortlisted For The DSSC Course.

All successful candidates are required to report at Nigerian Defence Academy,
(which is the old site or location)
with a copy of the following documents/items:
note that this items should by handy, the institution will accept no excuse.

1. Your original credentials, including your photo cards.
2. Four coloured full size photograph (of yourself) in suit, standing position and without cap/hat.
3. Two pairs of white (unmarked) vests/navy blue shorts
4. A pair of white canvas or trainers.
5. Two white bed sheets/pillow cases.
6. One blanket.
This can either be in grey or army green colour.
7. A set of cutlery for yourself.
8. National dress or suits and casual wears.
9. Serving soldiers are to come along with letters of recommendation and genuine/sincere passes from their commanding officers.
10. You are also expected to come with a written recommendation by at least three recognisable referees who must attest to your good character and integrity.
11. Successful candidates who fail to report on the above scheduled and fixed date may forfeit their chances of being admitted into the course.
