MOST candidates who sat for the PUTME a day before yesterday could not hide their disappointment over the level of disorderliness which they experienced. The students also disclosed that the screening exercise which was expected to commence as early as 8.00am as the school management disclosed in the acknowledgement slips ended up in the Night hours.
According to Oluwale Favour, who disclosed and we quote: “I was frustrated, on my slip, it was stated clearly that the examination time is 8am, I was there by 7:45am after verifications we entered the hall by 12:00 noon, waited till 6pm until the papers arrived, started by 6:30pm.”
Other students did not hide their anger over the misconduct of the post utme screening exercise, as another candiate whose name is John, said that the examination paper got to their hall few minutes to 7pm, as he also said that there was no light in the hall so they had to improvise with their phones and candles.
When we decided to contact a staff who plead to stay anonymous, he said that the very reason for the late arrival of the examination questions is because the school leadership discovered that it has already been leaked out and most students have the answers to all the questions. SO the management decided to make another arrangement to ensure the credibility of the exercise.
However, none of the school authorities has come out to publicly commented on this at the time of filling this report, but surely, we’ll get you more details and the reason for such act by the school management board.
