EKSU Is the Most Responsible University In The South West Nigeria

This is certainly good news, i mean, GREAT news to all students, staff and well wishers of the Ekiti State University, as the academic institution add another medal to its cap following the recent ranking of the University as the most ethically responsible University in South West Geo – political Zone of Nigeria.

This information and ranking was an outcome of an independent assessment and research work which was carried out by an internationally reputed Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) which have their headquarters in Nigeria, the Centre for Ethics and Self Value Orientation (CESVO).

According to the President of this perculiar and NON governmental organisation, Prince Saliu Musa Yakubu, who disclosed that the activities of the organization, which involves beaming the searchlight on public academic institutions and individuals with the aim of exposing corruption, maladministration, inefficiency, graft and fraudulent conduct of public officers and public offices to the public without compromising.

He also went on to disclose that the Ekiti State University has been adjudged to be among the top six universities in Nigeria, which is representing ethically responsible universities.

This award was given to the University and the measures which are used covered performances in areas including:
Educational policy,
Performance quality of academic programmes,
Ethical conduct,
Budget performance,
Internal fight against corruption,
National visibility.
