LATEST information reaching us today, is that the President of Nigeria, President Goodluck Jonathan, has ordered that all Primary and Secondary schools should be put on hold, that is, they should not resume come September, because of the Ebola Outbreak, which has claimed lives and has no medically known cure yet.
According to information we received, saying that President Goodluck Jonathan has directed that the resumption of primary and secondary schools across the country be put on hold for the main time now. This information was shared to us by the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Youth and Students Matters, Jude Imagwe, who disclosed this in Abuja on Tuesday, the 12th of August, saying that President Goodluck Jonathan was wary of the danger of the disease to the nation’s future generation and as a result ordered that all Primary and Secondary schools remained on holiday till the country finds a way out of the ebola outbreak.
