Like most of us are already aware of, the UNICEF is recruiting for the New and Emerging Talent Initiative (NETI) for the 2014/2015 Session. Therefore, the leadership board, choose to notify the public, through the publicizing board of www.Dailyschoolnews.com.ng, that applications are currently been invited from suitably qualified and interested persons to apply for the 2014 NETI recruitment exercise.

Qualification For the UNICEF NETI Recruitment for 2014/2015

Please take note that the following candidates are eligible to apply to the NETI Programme, but they must have met the below requirements to be fully eligible and qualified! We’re wishing you, the best!

1. The UNICEF National Professional Officers and General Service staff are qualified to apply.
2. ALL UNICEF staff members holding a temporary appointment are also qualified to apply, but their appointment with the organization must been temporary;
3. ALL UNICEF Junior Professional Officers (JPOs) who must have completed at least 15 (fifteen) months of the JPO Programme;
4. All external candidates from outside UNICEF are also qualified. This means, anyone who is not associated with NICEF are qualified to apply.

Important Notice:

THE National Professional Officers and General Service staff should take note, especially, those who have been selected to participate in the NETI Programme, that they will be offered a fixed-term appointment that replaces their previous letter of appointment, including any permanent or continuing appointment with Unicef.

These persons should also take note, that they will not have the right to return to their previous post in UNICEF.

2014 Unicef Application Closing Date:

We would love to inform and notify all interested persons, that Applications will be accepted through e-Recruitment until the deadline, which has been set to be 11:59PM Eastern Standard Time (EST) on the 23rd of September 2014.

All selected NETI participants are expected to commence within the early days of 2015.
