Latest educational news reaching us today, is that the students of the Lagos State University (LASU), despite been call by the management board of the LASU academic institution to resume academic activities, have refused to turn up for lectures, even though there were Hundreds of students littering around in the school, no one went for lecture.
According to the Student Union Government president of the Lagos state university, Nurudeen Temitope disclosed that even though the students have resumed as directed by the LASU management, but that does not mean that lectures and other academic activities will commence immediately.
the SUG president also went on to stated that the reduction in fees by the stated government is still not acceptable by the students as some of the students will still be paying as much as over N150, 000, which is unreasonable.
Mr Nurudeen called on the lagos state government to agree to the 60% reduction in all the faculties in the institution as the students have initially demanded.
