Very Sad! this is really a sad news, as the head of operations, Security Unit of the University of Lagos (Unilag) Sunday Adejumo, was killed on Friday, the 29th of August was a assassins at a beer parlor on Oyenuga street, behind St Finbarrs str., Akoka, Lagos.
According to information reaching our news desk, Sunday Adejumo, who is age 50, was enjoying and drinking with some of his friends at a beer parlour,, which is popularly known as the “Daniel’s Place” when three men walked up to him, dragged him off his chair, stabbed him before they shot him dead, some students alleged that he was killed by cultist groups.
While narrating what transpired the night he was killed, a resident who was present at the time of chaos and who pleads anonymously, disclosed that killed by some cult group.
Here’s the Official statement:
“When the group of three men got into the drinking palour, it seems they know exactly what they want to do and who they are looking for, because they went to where he was sitting. They had different weapons, which ranges from cutlasses to guns.
As we were drinking, one of the boys went to him, hit him in the chest and instantly, he fell down. the Man who hit him on the chest then brought out a gun and shot him point blank. On the table where he was drinking with his friends were a pay slip, his ATM cards and his car key.”
When we decided to confirm this story from the Nigeria Police force in that area, the police sources discloses that his body was taken to the Yaba mortuary.
Meanwhile the three friends he went to the beer parlor with as well as the owner of the beer parlor are now being interrogated.
