Latest About Reduction of OAU School for Returning Students

Important news reaching our news desk today, is for all Obafemi Awolowo University (oau) students, mostly for returning students, regarding the reduction in school fees and charges. This important information is released by the leadership board of Obafemi Awolowo University, and this information is much more directed to all returning undergraduate students on the reduction in their school fees.

Like i said above, this information is coming directly from the school management board which reads:
“Our further looks and investigation into our earlier circular ref no. RO.2/Vol.VI/74 on reduction in the charges payable by students, which the date is 19th of August, 2014, please be informed that students who have not yet registered should still pay the charges which was earlier approved by the University board of directors.

However, the modalities for the refund of excess charges which was already paid by students are as follows:

1. The deductions in charges which are paid by the current final year students will be credited as part of their Alumni Dues payable at graduation.

2. Please note that the excess charges paid by returning undergraduates, who are non-final year students, will be credited against their charges for the 2014/2015 academic session.
(E.g, all returning undergraduates in the Faculty of Science are required to pay N24,700.00 instead of N27,700.00 etc).

3. While for all students who paid the Late Registration fee paid before 29th August, 2014, the fund/money will also be credited to affected students for the 2014/2015 session.
