NANS Blocks Niger Bridge For More than 2 Hours

Educational news reaching us today, is that the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) had on Friday, the 18th of October, did block the Asaba axis of the Niger Bridge for more than two hours.

According to association, when asked why they carried out such action, replied that the action, which was jointly carried out by some university students and their polytechnic counterparts was in protest of the protracted strike by Academic Staff Union of Universities (asuu).

According to a correspondent, the aggrieved students blocked the bridge at about 1 p.m., which resulted to a traffic gridlock that stretched from the bridge to Okwe junction about five kilometres to Asaba town.

Daz quite gud but it does not Solely affect ASUU. I think they should block the entrance gate of ASUU’s National Secretariat.
