Another Daily school news reaching us here today, is that Academic Staff Union of Polytechnic (ASUP) has announce, that unless the federal government do something about their promise, that the academic union will embark on yet another strike.
A correspondent from Dailyschoolnews Abuja reports.
According to Mrs. Faith in Abuja, she said that the Academic Staff Union of Polytechnics (ASUP) has released another statement that the decision to suspend the nationwide strike on July 16, 2013. and that unfortunately, it has just been a pause.
According to her, the Academic body, ASUP is gearing up for yet another industrial action, which would commence after next week, probably from the 26th of August 2013.
ASUp also said that this strike would be indefinite til their needs are met.
The Educational Union also made the appropriate statement on August, the 13th of 2013, Tuesday during the mass protest to “save public education” which was conducted in Lagos state, Nigeria.
According to Faith From Dailyschoolnews, the suspension of the strike will expire next week and up till now, the Nigeria federal government has not done any single thing in the agreement which both parties agreed on. said Chibuzo Asomugha, ASUP’s National President.
That even after the 81 days of inactivity in polytechnics across Nigeria, the union decided to suspend the strike following the level of progress made in negotiations with the government.

It is always profit to hear & to take counsel than to give it.I pray dat d FG shud take d counsel of d wise and fulfil their promises so d nation presnt & future glory wudnt wast at home.
