Nigeria Universities – Polytechnics and College of Education news Nigerian Educational News | Zenith Of Educational NewsLatest educational news reaching the Dailyschoolnews official board today, is that the wife of Chief Gani Fawehinmi, who is the late human right activist, Ganiat, has asked the Current Nigeria Minister of Finance, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, to resign if she is tired of handling her responsibilities, which include educational issues, by being responsive to necessities.
According to Fawehinmi, who had shared this information with a correspondent here in Dailyschoolnews, had said this during her address at the annual convention of the Coalition Against Corrupt Leaders, which was held in Lagos State on Wednesday, when she berated the minister for saying the Federal Government had no resources to meet the demands of the Academic Staff Union of Universities.
However, i would also love to inform you that the government had earlier said it could not meet the N92bn ASUU had demanded, based on its 2009 agreement with the FG.

Although Fawehinmi, who said she was fully in support of the ASUU strike, described the reaction of the government, concerning the strike, as selfish and wicked.
