According to the management board of the University of Port Harcourt (Uniport), who disclosed to our correspondent, through the school public officer, that the institution senate have observed that many newly admitted Students have not registered several weeks even after Registration had commenced.
SO using this platform, the school wish to inform all candidates, that should unless they have gone through the due process of registration, as namely:
Online clearance;
Payment of School Charges,
Physical Clearance at the Admission Office;
Medical Examination,
Registration at the Uniport Health Centre;
Registration in the College/Faculty,
Submission of file to their College Secretary/Faculty and thereafter,
assigned Matriculation Number,
they are not yet (admitted) students of the University, and it’s official.
The academic institution management board also informed us that for students without Matriculation Numbers, they cannot be allowed to write any examination in the University.
SO all admitted Candidates, who have note yet registered, are therefore, required to complete their registration on or before Friday, the 28th February, 2014.
So for any candidates who fail to complete their registration within the above given period will be deemed not to have taken up the offer of admission made to them by the school, and will have to wait till next year before applying for admission again.
