Breaking news reaching today, is that the University of Ilorin (popularly know as Unilorin) is inviting all candidates who have applied for admission into the Educational institution as First Choice either through UTME or Direct Entry, that they are expected to visit the University of Ilorin official website, www.unilorin.edu.ng, for step by step details and procedure for the Pre- Admission Screening exercise.
This is to inform all candidates who choose the University of Ilorin as their Second Most Preferred Institution, that they should be on the lookout for information on the Unilorin official web portal, www.unilorin.edu.ng
Important Information:
Please all candidates should note that Registration for the Pre-admission screening has already commence today, being Monday, the 1st of July and will officially end on Sunday, the 14th of July, 2013.
All candidates should also note that the Pre-admission Screening Exercise is scheduled to take place from Monday, 15th to Saturday, the 20th of July, 2013.
The examination will be conducted using Computer Based Test (CBT) platform at Ilorin and Lagos Centres.
This is also an important information, because the online registration deadline is on the 14th of July, 2013.
However, any candidate who has awaiting results, but who have registered on or before 14th July, 2013 have the opportunity to submit their results online on or before the 15th of August, 2013, because the portal for registration will be closed on the 15th of August 2013.
QUALIFICATION and ELIGIBILITY
All interested Candidates must have the following which are being listed below:
Candidate must have scored a minimum of 180 marks in the just concluded 2013 UTME for all courses except those for which higher cut off marks have been specified on the University website;
All applying candidates must have made the University of Ilorin their first choice either at UTME or Direct Entry (DE).
All applying candidate must have obtained Five (5) Credits in relevant ‘O ’ Level subjects, at not more than two sittings except in MB;BS where only one sitting is acceptable.
All eligible and qualified candidates should visit the University website www.unilorin.edu.ng to complete their registration online.
Please we advice you to visit the website directly, because assessing the above Unilorin website through any of search engines may lead to redirection to other websites which is not associated with the University of illorin.

Candidates should please note that the University charges N1,000.00 (One thousand Naira) only for the CBT exercise and N1,000.00 (One thousand Naira) only for the University processing fee.

Please note that candidates for the pre-admission screening exercise are advised to be decently dressed to avoid embarrassment.
All applying candidates who are indecently dressed will not be allowed into the screening premises, this include both the male and female student.
Please also note that Phones and all other forms of mobile communication, electronic devices, bags and luggage are not allowed within the screening premises.

Accommodation in Unilorin
Please note that accommodation are available for Pre Admission screening candidates at the rate of N1,000.00 or N3,000.00 per night in Unilorin.
